Well I did some researching yesterday, to find out that the Kernats family that I'm looking into, in 1952 owned a tavern where the Bradley center is now. Emil O. and Marion (Peterson) Kernats. Emil's mothers name was Louise, in which I suspect that "Anette" got her middle name from.

1930 I find Louise (born in France/Husband: hungarian)(head of household) working as a cook at a hotel. she has 5 son:
Rudolph-born in Illinois
Emil-Wisconsin
Joseph-Wisconsin
Frank-Wisconsin
Henry-Wisconsin

**states Louise is married but husband is not listed on census
she immigrated in 1913, however
**1939 ship manifest shows her traveling back from france-list her father as Jean Arnold
