I know very little about the Kepics/Kepich and Slovak side of my family and would love to learn more.

My great-grandmother was Illona Szmik Kepics. She emigrated from J.Remete, Hungary on 9-11-05 to Ellis Island with her 8 mos old son, Janos Kepics. They were going to meet my great-grandfather, Janos Kepics, in Hannastown, PA. They later changed their names to Helen and John Kepich and eventually settled in McKeesport, PA.
My great-grandfather had a brother named Peter Kepich and a sister who married a Cipa.
