If anyone has anymoe information on the
Doyle and
Kenna family that this thread relates to, then I would love to find out more about them. Their oldest daughter, Mary Elizabeth (b.1900), is my great-grandmother. She is the child that Elizabeth was pregnant with when they moved to
Birkenhead.
My Grandmother believes that Elizabeth (b.1881) and James (b.1870) had around 20 children overall, so there should be plenty of decendants! All I know of from the generations before them is that Elizabeth's parents were Timothy
Kenna and Ellen
Davis, and James's father was John Patrick
Doyle.
I think that these are the names of some of Elizabeth's siblings (Timothy and Ellen's children);
Bridget, Ellen, Dennis, Mary, Michael, Patrick, Susan, Thomas and Timothy.
Some of Elizabeth and James's children's names are; Ellen, John Patrick, Margaret, Susan, Mary Elizabeth, Eileen and Kathleen. But this isn't all of them.
I have found the 1901 census, which shows Elizabeth and James living with Mary Elizabeth in
Birkenhead, with Dennis, Elizabeth's brother, visiting.
If anyone has anymore info then it would be greatly appreceated.
