This tree begins with Reuben Kendall. Reuben was married to Wincie -?-. They had 2 sons, Clem (circa 1830 )and Giles; one daughter, Dell. Additionally, Reuben had Jacob Kendall by an unidentified slave woman. Jacob served as a slave for his brother Clem.

Jacob married a Wincie. This Wincie was from the Gold coast, Africa. Wincie's maiden name was removed in favor of her mistress's Christian name. Wincie was bought in Charleston, S.C., at the big slave market.

Jacob and Wincie's union produced George, Martin, Mimie, Sally and Sarah.

Jacob's father, Reuben, split Jacob's family between Clem and Giles. Giles took Mimie and Sally to Arkansas. Giles died there in Arkansas.

I am seeking Wincie's african name. Can anyone help?
