Letters and other items in the Archives of London show at least two sons FRANCIS and THOMAS went to the Plymouth, Massachusetts Colony."
--From WM Clemons, "The Kendall Family in America" published by WM Clemons, Hackensack, NJ 1919: page 4: The ancestor of the American Kendall family was John Kendall, who was born in 1608 [more likely the 1580 date above is correct] and died in County Cambridge in 1660. Two of his son, Francis and Thomas came to New England before 1640."

"Per WM Clemons "The Kendall Family in America" 1919, pg 4: "Deacon Thomas Kendall who was a proprietor of Reading, Mass, in 1644; was admitted freeman 10 May 1648. He married Rebecca _____ and had ten daughters; ...".
--Per post to Roots-L 10 Sep 1996 by Kirk Larson <Evitan1@aol.com>, he shows John Kendall/Elizabeth Sacherell had son Deacon Thomas Kendall m. Rebecca Paine and adds dates, places, and has same 11 children as noted by Clemons above. Kirk Larson also shows his pedigree/descent from Elizabeth Kendall (dau of Thos Kendall/R Paine) who m. Jonathan John Eaton.
--Per post to Kendall Surname List by Fred Kunchick <FredKun@aol.com> 11 Apr 97 he notes Thomas Kendall was b.abt 1618 in Kendall, Westmoreland Co England vs other authorities who say b.1616, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.
