I found the following on E-Bay today (2/8/12) an auction for a photograph listed as: DAGUERREOTYPE BLUE EYED MAN GOLD EARRINGS YOUNG LADY IDENTIFIED JACOB ELLEN KEMP

It appears that the previous owner had written a note: "My Grandfather & Grandmother Kemp
Jacob Kemp & Ellen Kemp

The last line is a bit difficult to read but I think it says:
Harper Cemetery Gene (?)

Not one of my ancestors but I try to pass on things I come across that may help others. The person selling this says it is a DAGUERREOTYPE but I have my doubts and they are asking a very large sum for the photo.
