Hi all,
I'm just new to this and trying to get some traction. My grandfather's name was Herman Fredrick Kelm, born in Minsk, Russia. He immigrated with family to a homestead land grant in Manitoba, likely near Neepawa. He had a brother, Arthur, who died early from an accidental gunshot wound while hunting. I believe he had four sisters, as well. Herman served in the RCAF as a driver and then a chef, and married Janna Roerink of the Netherlands.
Does anybody have any info that might fill in some blanks further back than Herman? I'm having a tough time wading through all of the Kelms that appear to be on here!
EDIT: I have since learned that Herman's parents were Ludwig and Emilia Kelm, who died in Plumas, Manitoba.
Thanks!
