Fred S. Kellow

1927-2004

Fred S. Kellow, 76, of Cheyenne died Jan. 26 at United Medical Center-West.

He was born July 23, 1927, in Butte, Mont., and had lived here for 50 years.

Mr. Kellow served in the Air Force.

He was assistant director of the Wyoming Health Department, retiring in 1987, and
assistant director of Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Mr. Kellow was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Kellow of Cheyenne, whom he married April 27, 1984, in
Cheyenne; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Debbie Barber of Hinckley, Utah; three
daughters and sons-in-law, L'Dena and Tony Pereira of Lakewood, Colo., Robin and Tom
Huber of Cheyenne, and Shannon and John Arnold of Spokane, Wash.; two
brothers-in-law, John Corbett and Jim Corbett, both of Delta, Utah; a sister and
brother-in-law, Shirley and Roy Newhardt of Helena, Mont.; 11 grandchildren, Jason
Huber, Janelle Huber, Buddy Huber, Tonya (Curt) Rathbun, Shelley (Shane) Downing,
Josh Hansen, William Pereira, Barbara Pereira, Sabrina Arnold, Braden Arnold and
Conor Barber; four great-grandchildren, Crystal Rathbun, Angelica Rathbun, C.J.
Rathbun and Lexi Downing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bessy Kellow.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Interment will be at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Jason Huber, Buddy Huber, Josh Hansen, William Pereira, John
Arnold, Tony Pereira, Gary Barber and Tom Huber.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Corbett, Jim Corbett, Doug Howell, Roy Newhardt, Curt
Rathbun and Shane Downing.

Friends may contribute to Cheyenne Botanical Gardens.

This is a paid obituary.
