Barenaba Palenapa is the son of Samuel Nuuanu Kekahuna, son of Kekahuna Nui and .Keliikanakaole (lst wife). Barenaba;s son is William Alapai Kekahuna, who married Deborah Kahiapo, who is actually a Kekahuna from Nuuanu's older brother, Moses. William's large ohana lived in Hana, Maui. Look through the census for their family. The Kekahuna family of Maui are related to a long line of Alii Aimoku who the chiefs of Maui and big island. The key name to look for is Alapainui.
