Paula J. Kegel, 34, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 3, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born Aug. 14, 1972, in Shawano, to Kenneth and Toni (Jagodzinski) Kegel. Paula grew up in Suring and graduated with the Class of 1990. She was currently employed by TJ Maxx as a sales associate, and Family Video as a customer service representative. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring. Paula enjoyed running, traveling, dog sitting and listening to all kinds of music.
Paula is survived by her parents; three sisters, Tracy (Mark) Winkler, Gillett; Jenifer Gellerman, Kaukauna; and Sara Kegel, Milwaukee; a brother, Dean Kegel, Suring; three nephews, Mackenzee, Reid, and Brice; a niece, Reece; maternal grandmother, Mildred Jagodzinski, Shawano; and paternal grandmother, Fay Kegel, Green Bay. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2007, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring, with Father Joseph Coopmans officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Although Paula was taken from us at a young age, she enjoyed life to the fullest!
