Louise Kefauver Williams, 80, of Upper Arlington, Ohio passed peacefully at First Community Village on July 1, 2011, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
The youngest daughter of Ross and Virginia Kefauver, Weezie, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on November 6, 1930, in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and graduated from Bexley High School in 1948.
She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1952 with a degree in Elementary Education and later earned a Master's Degree in Education from OSU. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
She married Roger Eugene Williams in summer of 1952. She was preceded in death by Roger her husband of 41 years, and her sister Lenore (Emch).
She is survived by her brother, Weldon Kefauver; three sons, Steven (Peggy) Upper Arlington, Ohio, Jeffrey (Sheri) Hudson, Ohio, Douglas (Karen) Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Alison Knowles (Jeffrey), Brian Williams, Katherine Williams, David Williams, and Erin Williams; and ten nieces and nephews.
Louise taught school for over 40 years, the last 22 years for the Upper Arlington City Schools as a kindergarten teacher at Wickliffe and Windermere.
She was honored with the Upper Arlington Civic Association's Golden Apple Award in1992.
A memorial service is planned at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd Grandview, Ohio 43212 Burkhart Chapel at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011,
