I have a picture of Mamaw Keener who is Nancy Ann Keener's Mother, as well as Harvey (Jack), Necia, Buster, Ben, Claude, and Harland (Jellie). In this picture Mamaw Keener appears to be very dark as in Indian, does anyone have more information on this. She is my 2nd greatgrandmother on my mother's maternal side. Nancy Ann Married Elmer Bunyan Hall Sr and I have Mawmaw Keener's name as Plina Landers-Keener. The reason I ask is because her death certificate says she is white.
