Discussion: Shirlee Louise Keener was born on 31 Jan 1932 in Pennsylvania. She died 26 Jun 2011 at the Elizabethtown Masonic Village Nursing Home, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, Lancaster Co., PA. Her parents were Seth E. and Helen E. Keener. She was married in 1985 to Chester Dillon Nickey Jr. (b. 7 Nov 1921 in West York – d. 10 Feb 1986 York Hospital, 1001 South George Street, York). Shirlee was a widow using the Nickey married surname when she died. The source of my belief that she was married to a CRANE is from the Register of Wills & Clerk of Orphans’ Court Online Services Marriage Index. It contains the following: (1) Shirlee Louise CRANE married Arnold Elvie WILSON in 1961, (2) Shirlee Louise Wilson married Edward Robert McDonald in 1972, and (3) Shirlee Louise Keener married Chester Dillon NICKEY Jr in 1985. I have not located any other sources or clues that Shirlee Louise Keener was married to a Crane.

Question: Am I mixing apples and oranges or did Shirlee marry a Crane? If she did, what was his given name, etc.? Since she married Arnold Elvie Wilson in 1961 the Crane marriage had to occur before then.

Any information, clues, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
