Most of my Keach/Keech ancestors came from Killingly, Connecticut. Sometimes they lived in Connecticut then moved to Rhode Island and sometimes they lived in Rhode Island first then moved to Connecticut.

Gotcha. Mine are from beaufort county,NC (belhaven, pinetown) or at least that is where i know them from. Of course, we know benjamin and elias and their story. I still can't get anything on benjamin's parents, which is very frustrating! I just may have to join the uk version to see if i can get better results. There is also a website i found, that has been very beneficial as far as grave searching. www.findagrave.org you can search in all countries which is pretty cool. Didn't know if you have checked it out before or not.
Have a great day! Teresa

Thanks for the info. I also belong to NEHGS and they have a file on all the historical cemetaries in New England. There is a Keech cemetary in Chepachet R.I. with my ancestors from 1794 and some of the headstones are still readable. It is on Keach Dam Road near Keach Pond. It is a remnant from the Keech farm of the 1700's. If I find any more on Benjamin, I'll let you know.
