Leslie, I am a descendant of Jacob, Jacob, John, Martha Keebler. I show a Samuel that never married and a Samuel b 1821 Washington Co, TN m Rosannah Keebler (?) abt 1845 (1850 Census). This is probably the same family since they were in the same area. I am waiting to receive some more info from another "cousin" who I found last week. If he has your Samuel listed I will let you know.
Take care

Dear C Baily, Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, it definitely sounds like the right line. I'm descended from a Jacob Keebler who came to this country in the 1700's from Germany. Date wise it would work for your Sam and Rosannah to be the parents of my Sam Keebler who married Lucy Stout. Can't wait to hear what you find and of course I'll share anything that comes my way. Leslie

I am the GG grandson on Samuel Petersen Keebler of Butler County born abt 1821 - married to Carolina Hariet Presely. Do you show these Keebler's in your line?

Terry,
I posted some info on Genforum (Keebler message board) re Keebler/Wiggins and other families. The message mostly involed marriage licenses. Possibly/probably there was more than one marriage between the Keeblers and the Wiggins families.
More later - My best,
June

Terry, I have nothing farther back than Sam and Lucy Keebler, parents of Jerome Keebler Lowry, my grandmother. Jerome was born around 1898. I will check in your direction. Thanks for the reply. Good luck, Leslie

Hello Terry,
I'm sorry to be so long sending this. I cannot positively go back any farther than my Samuel Sylvester Keebler (c.1880)since I have as yet been unable to find him and siblings on a census when they were young enough to be at home so that I could verify his father's name. However I am posting info that I hope you and possibly others will find helpful. I found and copied these marriage licenses while i was in Greenville, Butler County, Alabama
A marriage bond was signd on the 16th day of November, 1853 for Harriett Presley and Samuel Keebler. The bond was signed by Samuel Keebler and James A Presley. The wedding was performed on the 29th day of November 1853.
A marriage bond was signed on the 2nd day of August 1854 by Hamilton Keebler and Levi Garver (Garner?)for Hamilton Keebler and Nancy Thompson. The ceremony wa performd on the 9th day of August 1854 .
A marriage bond was signed before J. L. Powell, Judge of Probate for the marriage of S. P. Keeler 21 and Miss N. C. Burk 18. The wedding was performed on the 7th of Novemer 1878. The parties were married at the residence of Jas Wiggins.
Terry, I posted this on Genforum, but in case you didn't receive it I am posting it here for you and possibly someone who else may tie into us. I hope to have something else for you after I return to Chattanooga and contact the Tennessee Keeblers. In the meantime, keep in touch. My best,
June

Terry,
I should have mentioned in the previous message that the Keeblers and Wiggins families intermarried, so you may want to check the Wiggins line on this forum and on Genforum. I have one or two postings there. JPT
