Hello, Dawn - I also descend from William Keeble via son, Manly and then his youngest son, Richard. I have a great deal of info on this line and am glad to share but there is so much! I do have my info. written into a narrative that I can send onto you. My next major project is to update my material and re-write this narrative - don't know how long that will take. What I lack is a birthplace for William and also for Richard Keeble, father of Mary. Do you happen to have this information? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Karen Warren

whose wife was Marietta (Sullivan)..I believe.., and William's father
was James Sanford Keeble. My father, James Marion Keeble is also looking
for any available information on his cousin Lewis Carnes. I am

My family and the Keebles were all early settlers in Blount County and I have only recently discovered that connection. James and Mary Ann were my 3rd great parents and their daughter, Mahalia was my great grandmother. It's certainly a strange coincidence, and I'm sure my parents didn't know that when he came to south Georgia to marry my mother that her ancestors were from the same little town in Tennessee. I have gotten a lot of my Keeble information from the Blount County Genealogical and Historical society in Maryville. Have you seen those articles from the 1986 and '87 issues of the Blount Journal?

I live in Ohio and don't have much chance to get back to Tenn. I haven't been there since my Grandfather passed away. I would love to share information with you. I have the full line of Sneed's of which I am related through Mary A. please contact me at jdcarnes@bright.net Thanks, Dawn

My g.g.grandfather was William Keeble Davis of Gloucester County, Virginia. I have been trying to make a connection to the Keeble name which I figure must be an aunt/uncle for him to carry the name.
William Keeble Davis(1820-1842) married Sarah Elizabeth Deal and they settled at Davis Creek, Gloucester County, Virginia. William Keeble was the son of Daniel Davis and Anne Brooke Ransome. Siblings of William Keeble were John Brooke, Edward, Susan, and Nancy.

Do we connect?
