*Bessie Mae Hepenstall was the daughter of John H. Hepenstal, b England, (he son of Benjamin Hepenstall), and wife Rachel Farrell b 8 Sept 1828 Wicklow, Ireland, she died 11 April 1926 Russell City, Lucas Co., Iowa. John H. Hepenstal and wife Rachel Farrell, married in Iowa, and rasied a family of 6 children; Mary Ellen; Benjamin Willard; John Alford, Anna L.; Bessie Mae; Rachel Ella. [We have a picture of grandma Rachel Farrell Hepenstal, with her brother George Farrell, and one with her daughter Mary Ellen, who m to George W. Pray.]
Bessie Mae Hepenstall, married to Evan Rhodes Baker, he b 26 May 1865 Iowa, Evan and Bessie married 8 July 1887 Iowa, he died 26 Sept 1905 Russell City, Lucas Co., Iowa. He was the son of Wesley Hiriam Baker of Maine, and his wife Vesta Arolina Dunn of West Virginia.
**Joseph Hepenstall Baker, b 5 Dec 1896 Lucas Co., Iowa. He married to Hazel E. Keebaugh, about 1920, Butler Co., Nebraska.

Joseph H. Baker died Thursday, 17 Oct 1968.
He was 72 years old. He died Fowler, Fresno Co., Ca.
He was a native of Iowa. Baker had lived in the Fowler area for 10 years, had been a trucker driver for 43 years, had worked out of Oklahoma City for many years. His 1st wife Hazel E. Keebaugh, died in Oklahoma City. He was survived by his 6 children and two step-children.
