Nice to hear from you...we did a search of Kedges in the US and came across your son's name in the Houston area some time ago...isn't that funny? Small world. My father-in-law tries to keep up with the name because it is so different. He has traced the name back to England I believe.
Did you know that Kedge means "brisk walker?" It seems somewhat appropriate seeing as how my husband and his brothers are all excellent runners (marathon, 10k, and 5k).
That's all for now...keep in touch....LisaCK

Hi Lisa
Just a short message. I've just come across one of your messages on ancestry.com and believe I may be able to help with the history of our name.
I run a database for the name here in England and have traced members back to about 1312. I myself have a direct line back to the 1500s.
Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Best regards

Bill Kedge

Hi Wayne
Pleased to hear from you. Could you let me have some details of your ancestors, especially the Canada ones - I may be able to supply some info for you. One of my contacts had an uncle went to Canada from Bedfordshire.
