Robert Keddie & Elizabeth Hood, Fifeshire, Scotland
Am researching my husbands family tree, and have gone back to a Robert Keddie b 1827 married to Elizabeth Hood b 1828. They emigrated to Australia in 1848 sailing from Plymouth, England to Geelong, Vic, Australia. We only knew they were from Scotland b/c of the shipping list which states only fifeshire as their place of birth. Would appreciate any info if you have come across these names in your research. Cheers.

Re: Robert Keddie & Elizabeth Hood, Fifeshire, Scotland
My grandfather was James Turner Keddie who married Mary Florence Hahn in Victoria and moved to Western Australia and had four children. My mother was Kathleen Florence Keddie. I think,my grandfather's father's name was Robert and I think he was the son of the above. Is that correct/ What information do you have. Looking forward to hearing from you. Janet
