your best bet would be to get copies of the books written about the Keck's of Claiborne County TN. this is one of them
the second is Down in the Barns. they should have everything you would like to know the author is Virginia Billingsley fletcher she is a Keck also. i believe she lives in florida now. I have a copy of each. you might find them on line or she may have more copies available

Wesley, the Keck family you speak of is part of the Kecks from Pa. Henreich Keck came to the USA in 1732. there are 2 books on that family one is Down in the Barnes and the 2nd one I don't remember the title at the moment, but I have a copy of each. I will try to find them and get that info for you. I don't think William Keck is the father of Docia L Keck. they originated out of
North Umberland county Pa not far from Allentown, Pa.

John Keck could be Johannes Keck which there are several most of which were born near Allentown, Pa the first Keck came over in 1732. they came from Bavaria which I believe is the black forest area.
my name is Robert L Keck Jr from Pa

I have quite a bit of info on the Keck family there were 3 Kecks that came to the USA
Henrich born in Bavaria February 1710 he came to the USA in 1732 his brother came later I believe his name was Johannes. and another Keck came from Germany in 1856 I think I have his name somewhere. he was not related to the other 2. there is a history written by J.A. Keck from Iowa he traveled to Pa in 1905 I believe that is the correct date and stayed with the family of my GG grandfather L. L. Keck and they worked on this info together and talked to other older Keck family members. you can contact me via my email rkeck86@yahoo.com
