John Kebby married Mary Hunt in 1683 in Broomfield, Somerset. They are my ancestors. I have only recently discovered this connection and would be very interested to make contact with anyone else who is interested in the Kebbys of Somerset: perhaps we could help each other!

Kebby is probably an original spelling of Kibby. There are Kibbys in many of the Quantock villages surrounding Broomfield.

Hi

I have a slight interest in the Kebby / Kibby / Kiby family of Ringwood Hamps. c1890, I believe some of them moved to Islington London. Some of them are on the 1901 Census.
My interest is James Thomas Walker married Fanny Elizabeth Kebby / Kibby 1898 in Ringwood and moved to Islington Lon.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm wondering if you're still looking for kebby's in Somerset? I'm only up to the late 1700's and am wondering if the families are linked. Mine are in charlish in the early 1800's

I am also related to the Kebby/ Kibby family of Charlinch. My family moved to Cannington and my great grandfather became a corn Miller before moving to South Wales in the 1860's.
