Having read the message from Robert Keal of Leicester i noticed a few things of interest. My fathers name is George Robert Keal son of the late George William Keal of Eastville, Lincolnshire. My family have been farming in Eastville for over 100 years to my knowledge and my father still runs the family farm today.
Feel free to e mail me with any information you feel may be of interest or if i can help you in anyway.

Saw your posting. Am looking for information on William Dixon Keal. William had brother Robert or James and father was Robert or James. Family info was that they lived in the Dundee area but only records I have found is of a William Dixon Keal in Boston. However children do not match- my William had a Martha, Margaret, and Elizabeth. Would be interested in hearing from you and more about your history. Feel free to use email of wdart@msn.com

I am Frederick Alan Keal, brother of Robert George, Eric William and John Robert . My children are James Alan, Matthew Ryan and Rebecca Louise. We have discovered an entirely unrelated Keal family only two villages away with a son called James Alan born on the same day but four years earlier. I haven't managed to knock on the door yet.
We went back to the East Keal area in 1977 and met a n old lady called Annie Keal. She looked like my grandfather Frederick William Keal wearing a dress.

A friend of mine visited the memorial to the Vietnam war and reports there is a Keal on there. Anyone know anything about him?

Yes, I am having a little trouble trying to find out about my family history with my father's surname KEAL. I have tried everything that I could find out and it has cost me plenty and still nothing at all. All I know is this that my grandfather was Kedrick K. Keal (Mar. 28, 1916-Jan. 26, 1986). And my father was Richard E. Keal (June 10, 1951-Feb. 06, 2001). My uncle's are Larry W. Keal and Daniel B. Keal.

I wish that I knew more but all I do know is that everytime I ask about the family name so I can know about the Keal name I get the cold shoulder from my uncle's. All I want to know is be proud of my name like my father wanted me to do. I am proud but what does the name Keal stand for if I have know idea where the Keal (my family) originated from. I do hope you understand what I am trying to say here. Thank You for you time.
