Many records show Archibald Smith Keahey (b. 31 Dec 1845 Dale, Alabama d. 23 Apr 1914) as having been buried in Erath County, Texas, which seems to be incorrect. On the 1910 US Federal Census he resided in Streeter, Roger Mills, Oklahoma. According to a website devoted to Oklahoma Civil War Veteran burial places, it shows that he is buried in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma in a cemetery named Silent Home.
I have also found that Archibald's wife, Martha Elizabeth Roberson Keahey, applied for and received a pension from Oklahoma for his Confederate service in the Civil War. I hope to locate and copy this pension file as I am hoping that it will show who Archibald's parents are.
