For some reason I was never notified of your reply & now I'm not sure what people you're referring to. I do plan on attending the Keahey reunionin Arkansas this April.
My line of Keahey's after William is George, William, John Samuel, John Calvin & my grandmother Flora May Keahey-Kennedy

I am Hilary Keahey,
daughter of Robert Alan Keahey and Gay Blanks Keahey( deceased) I came across this inquriy today because I have been looking for the gravesite of my grandfather Thomas Jefferson Keahey. He died in 1939 in San Antonio Tx. when my dad and my uncle(twins) were 8 yrs old. I can only wonder if there is some connection. I know it has been three years since the original message was posted but finding the past takes time. I know that after Thomas' death his wife Grady Hall Keahey and her children moved to San Angelo Tx. and sadly lost contact with the Keahey side of the family. We are sort of a lost branch of the Keahey clan.

Trying to find the right information. I have a Great Grandfather Archie or Archibald Keahey who Married Molly or Mollie. Was to he was previously married to ? He had a son Conrad Charles Keahey, a daughter Lillian and possibly another son Clarence. I thought Archie's parents were T J Keahey and Frances Irine , which is very similar to Frances Arena. the information was on a death certificate with a signature of Conrad Keahey, in the correct location of McKinney,Texas...but the dates don't match the census reports! Do you know any details that could help me out? Valerie mommy222@juno.com

Hello Valerie, I am researching the Keahey line as well. There are at least two Archibald Keaheys. Mine is Archibald Smith Keahey b. 31 Dec 1845 in Dale Co. Alabama to Martha unknown maiden name. I am trying to verify the name of his father, as I do not believe that it is correctly listed in the Keahey Clansmen book. "My" Archibald Keahey married Martha Elizabeth Roberson. Together they had 12 children. He died 23 Apr 1914 and is buried in Roll, Oklahoma, in the Silent Home Cemetery.

"Your" Archibald Keahey b. 3 May 1869 in Troy, Texas; m. Frances Irene King; and d. 22 Sep 1936 which was all gleaned from his death certificate which it seems that you have a copy of. I have just recently come across this Archibald Keahey and have just begun to gather his information. I hope this helps some, then again you may have sorted some of this out on your own since it has been 2 years since your post. If you like, you can contact me at staracres@yahoo.com. I am going to copy this information to your juno email as well.
