I've got William and Margaret, and there is a question mark next to Margaret, either it means that they don't know the name for sure or they don't know her last name ? Two of their sons are John and James, and there's a George - my 4th Great Grandfather. Are we talking about the same people ?

I am wondering if you have access to the book Keahey Clansmen Revisted and/or Keahey Clansmen and Their Kin: Slay, Smith, Summerall? I am descended from Archibald Smith Keahey and I am trying to determine his parents. Based on census records he lists his "mother" as Martha b. 1821. I believe this may be Martha Slay, but have not proven this yet. I have not determined for sure who his father is. I have heard/read that in Keahey Clansmen and Their Kin, Archibald is listed as a child of James and Lydia Keahey; however, that would not seem to fit if Archie's mother is Martha and she is listed as widowed and not divorced in the census. I would appreciate any ideas or information that you may have.

My grandfather was Jodie, Joseph Arthur, Keahey...so we must be cousins. Kittie
