My maiden name is Keagle and I'm not sure if I'm not sure if I am "from" the Keagles you are looking for. I did notice you mentioned Michigan and that is where all my Kealge family is. My father is Hudson Bradley Keagle III. My grandfather, Hudson Bradley Keagle Jr. Lives in Battle Creek where I was born. I have just started looking into family history, so I would be interested in anything you can tell me. Thanks.

Do you know if "Keagle" is a Dutch name or
not? My ggrandma tell me that her father, Edward Keagle, was Dutch and yet my grandmother says he Irish. I really confuse
on this one. Are "Keagle" Dutch are Irish?

Just what I though, my ggrandmother said she
was English, and Dutch. Her father was from a large Dutch family of fourteen, is your grandfather or ggrandfather from large families? I have hear Dutch usually have large families. Who knows seeing that my gggrandfather, ggrandmother, grandmother, and my mother all were barn in Battle Creek
Michigan; there may be some connection here.
Do you have any family records at all of Brothers and Sisters of your gggrandparents? ggrandparents? grandparent?

I was just visiting my Grandmother yesterday,
and I ask her if she knew her ggrandfather
name. She couldn't remember, then I ask her
if the name Hudson rang a bell? She knew the
name, but she couldn't place the name directly in the Keagle family. Her memory doesn't serve her well. Yes the name Hudson
is in our end of the Keagle family bur we are not sure how, when, or where? My family have done a terrible job of keeping a family tree record, which means that they haven't
done anything. Raymond

I talked to my grandparents a couple days ago and they don't know very much about the family history, but would dig up whatever they could find and send it along to me. My grandfather did mention something about his grandfather being from a family of 14 kids.

Please feel free to contact me directly too, if you'd like- mecoretta@hotmail.com

My grandmother's father served in the Union Army during the Civil War. She came from Pennsylvania and I was always told she was Pennsylvania Dutch. Her mother's maiden name was Puedeboe which sounds French but I know little about her. I was very small when my grandmother died but have a picture taken with her family with her, her twin sisters, my parents and me (as a baby) and some other family members that are presently unidentified. Her twin sisters were named Marcella and Marella and I do not know whether there were other family members.I do not know her father's name. I wrote for Military Records and found an Ira Keagle but the military record does not seem to fit with what little information I have been able to find. Any help out there???

My grandfather says Irish!
