That maybe so, I did find out that the Keagle name is also Dutch. My Keagle side of the family were Dutch. My mother has Irish in her from her father on the "Rich" side of the family. Raymond.

My Keagle ancestors lived in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Some from the family moved to Lycoming County (early to mid 1800's) before the Civil War so you might try either of those counties to look for information about your Keagle ancestor. Others from this family moved from Perry County to Sangamon, IL and other places in the midwest.

Hi Janet,
I was wondering if you can share any information about the Gabelman family name with me. My family is Catholic. How long has you or your husband's family been in the USA and whence they came.

I have some information you will be interested in about the Keagle Family. I believe I am related to Eva Keagle. I also sent you an e-mail. Please respond to me by e-mail at Scrapbooker1158@aol.com and we can talk. Do not reply to this message as I don't get to the boards often.

Thanks, Leah

Hello, my name is Tamhara Thompson and I am the great great granddaughter of Edward Keagle. My great grandparents were Charles and Eva Keagle and my grandparents were Waynard and Elizabeth Keagle. I live in Battle Creek and have been doing research on the Keagle family tree and I have found that all of the Keagles in this area stem from Edward and his siblings. I know that Edward had around 12 to 14 siblings and that continued throughout the siblings having large families. Not too sure on the origin as of yet but still working it. If anyone would like to talk to me about the research, you are welcome to email me at my2coolmonte@yahoo.com or call me at 269-660-9939. Hope to hear from someone. Thanks

Not sure if you are still checking this but I have done alot of research on the Keagle side of my family and I do have records for Hudson Keagle. If you would like to get ahold of me, I can see what information I have on him. As for the family name, in my research, it shows that the family originated from Germany and Poland, I found information on my decendents showing in New York and then on to Pennsylvania(my great-great-great grandparents), on to Indiana(great-great grandparent (John Edward)) and then on up to Michigan(Great grandparent (Charles Farley Keagle) and then my Grandfather (Waynard Jay Keagle). Hudson stends from my great-great grandfather John Edward and his siblings). What I found is that each generation of Keagles, had numerous kids on average from 10 to 14 kids each family and continued down through the children. That is what makes doing their family tree so hard. I currently live in Battle Creek Michigan and I have visited many cemetaries in the area and found alot of the graves. As I said, if you would like to email me back, I can give you what information I have. my email is my2coolmonte@yahoo.com
