I know that this board has been very quiet for a long time, but I felt an urge to post this, so I hope there are still a few Keaches out there that look in from time to time.......

I have the book, " East Greenwich, Rhode Island
Historical Cemetery Inscriptions" by Bruce Campbell MacGunnigle and in it he states that "Almira (Briggs) Keach, wife of George W. d. 6 Mar 1832 AE 44y". She is in Historcial Cemetery number 38, Section L, number 15. Interestingly enough George Keach is not buried there, however, Charlotte (Unknown) Keach is buried at location 38-L-10, 5 spaces away from Almira.Charlotte was "wife of George, d. 13 March 1849 in 67th year"

I would very much like to learn more about the mother and wife of George Keach, like their fathers and mothers - who were they? Where did they come from? Why were they buried in East Greenwich when George was buried elsewhere? Writings for Rhode Island in the time period (1770-99) is scarce and the Keaches are known to be reclusive in searches. If anyone knows anything please email me. Thank you : )

In the marriage record of George W Keach to Elizabeth Moses he states his mother was Charlotte Keach. I do not know where George is buried. But were there Briggs in that cemetery that was his wife Almira's Maiden name, as you already know. I have been trying to find George for awhile. I know he died in South Kingstown, I should go to the town hall to see if they mentioned burial spot.
I am sure I did not answer your original question but it is nice to hear from anyone regarding the ellusive Keachs.

I have been requesting photos of gravestones at find a grave dot com because there are many George Keaches. Keach is very elusive and it is very good to hear from you : ) if you want to share more you can contact me through beads-at-aspi-dot-net, just take out the -es and use the symbol for at and dot. I am also on Facebook, which I started as a means to share family stuff, but 2 cousins got miffed with me and left and one uncle Keach does not go on Facebook much, so .... I share what and when I can and play games with friends. This is a slow genealogy time for me now. I will most likely perk up around January ish. Definately by March, as March 22 is the anniversary of the house fire that claimed the life of my mom and I always get into a genealogy "groove" around then. If I have money I travel to look at original documents, if not I subscribe for a free two week at one of the websites.
