I have a Phoebe RAWSON, born to parents Wyman V. RAWSON and Lola B. OLNEY. THE REASON I MENTION THIS IS BECAUSE IN MY FAMILY Lola RAWSON married Stanley KEACH, so THERE IS A RAWSON/KEACH CONNECTION.

Sometimes one must endure looking at someone else's family because one never knows where a possible connection may be found ......

With that said, On find-a-grave.com's website I have found a CHARLOTTE RAWSON -- I notice fist names as well as last names and I have a Charlotte Keach, buried in Rhode Island whom I need more info about. (I amy not find the connection I need through "conventional" methods of discovery)
Charlotte RAWSON (from find a grave) was married to a Charles L. RAWSON, who was in the N.Y. INFantry. Charles shares the gravestone with his wife, Charlotte; they are buried: Quaker Cemetery
Monkton Boro
Addison County
Vermont, USA
Plot: Row 2, Stone 8

I do not know for sure that these two are related to my RAWSONs, but I bet they are.

PAINE is the surname that is also connected with my KEACH/RAWSON family.

Families naming patterns are very important and remain clues to their relations for generations !

My (direct line) PAINE is Maria A. PAINE , who married Millard JORDAN (who had a daughter, Emma M. JORDAN, who married Edward Leroy KEACH) Maria A.PAINE was b. March 12, 1852 and d. May 28, 1914. Maria's father was Christopher PAINE from Foster, Rhode Island (b. 1816, so I feel strongly that there is some connection there with the PAINEs you are looking for.

All this leads me to a headstone that i took a photo of and wish that the lighting had been better that day. Phebe Ann ROBINSON Olney is buried next to her husband, George OLNEY in N. Smithfield, Providence County, R.I. Since I KNOW this Phebe is related to my KEACH relatives I strongly feel that there is a connection. I just don't know where.

I can help you figure it out in January 2011. Today is typical of this month for me -- I have two computer windows open, 8 tabs open and I am toggling back and forth between personal and business projects ! Please don't be mad that I wrote a long response but did not really answer your question. : ) have a happy holiday season ! Cheers. Monica
