anyone know about Jasper Keach or Joseph Keach

Surnames: Keach, Keahey, Keachey, Keech, Keais
Until recently I had thought that there were no Keach's who settled in North Carolina. This had discouraged me as I knew that there was a rather large settlement of people who had come from Scotland and settled in NC. My grandfather had told me that we were Scottish, but I have yet to trace any of my Keach's far enough back to where they originally came from.A few days ago I found that there were Keach's who lived in North Carolina around 1790.

Jasper Keach:
1 male, aged 16 and upwards --
4 males, aged under 16 --
3 females --

Joseph Keach:
1 male, aged 16 and upwards --
2 males, aged under 16 --
2 females --
1 slave --
-----------------------------------------------------

Looking ahead to the 1850 North Carolina Census there are still Keach's living there. These Keach's are probably not directly related to me as most of my Keach's were living in Rhode Island by 1850, but who knows???

1850 United States Federal Census: --

Benjamin Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1821 -----
Caroline Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1796 -----
Elias Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1834 -----
Elizabeth Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1824 -----
Henry Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC - abt 1796 -----
Levi Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1831 -----
Lorenzo Keach, Bath, Beaufort, NC -- abt 1828 -----
Richard Keach, Pasquotank, NC -- abt 1810, North Carolina
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Going backwards again, these are the Keach's listed in the 1820 North Carolina Census

Henry Keach, Beaufort,NC -- 1820 -----
Jasper Keach, Beaufort,NC -- 1820 -----
Reading Keach, Beaufort,NC -- 1820 -----
Stephen Keach, Beaufort,NC -- 1820 -----
Wherriatt Keach, Beaufort,NC -- 1820 -----

---------------------------------------------------------

This is where there is a slight chance for me to connect with my George Keach:
I have found a George Keahey in a group with Samuel Keachey and William J. Keahey. These three people and Jasper Keach are noted to have wills on record in North Carolina. I have searched the internet and have found no full record transcribed.

If anyone can do a look up these are the dates and places:

Jasper Keach (1808)- County Number 09, which used to be BATH and is now Beaufort County, as seen in the 1820 Census above.

George Keahey (1808) - .082, Richmond (parent County - Anson)
Samuel Keachey (1834) - .083, Robeson (parent County - Bladen)
William J. Keahey (1843) - .065, Mecklenburg (parent County - Anson)
