KENNETH MICHAEL KAYE
April 21, 1947 - March 8, 2014
Mr. Kenneth Michael Kaye, 66, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Kenny was born in Prince George's, Maryland and moved to Vero Beach nine years ago from Floyd, Virginia. After graduating from high school, Kenny joined the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Kenny owned several businesses including an industrial coating company.
An outdoor enthusiast, Kenny enjoyed fishing, hunting skin diving and farming. He also owned two Harley’s, one of an antique vintage which he took to the Bonneville Salt Flats for a competitive display and his bike took fastest in category honors. Kenny was also a Friend of the Vero Beach Dog Park.
Survivors include his companion Sherry Emberton of Vero Beach, son Jason Kaye of Penn State, Pennsylvania, daughter Keena Kaye of Seattle, Washington, grandchildren Linus (Margo) Kaye and Lully Kaye of Penn State, Pennsylvania, and a sister Susan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Rosalind Kaye, a sister Hiede Kaye , and his beloved dogs Batman, Thumper and Little T.
