looking for some history on Wm. Kaye Bell Foundry. Our church, located in Borden, Indiana, has a bell made by this foundry. We think it was installed in the mid to late 1800's.

I'm trying to make a connection between this Wm Kaye, b.1813 in Almondbury, Eng, (father Joshua b. 1791) and my gg-grandfather, Jonathan Kaye, b.1791, in Elland, Eng. Their locations are only 6 miles apart.

I'd love to hear from Anyone related to either of these Kaye families.

Helen I am very interested in the information you found in 2004 when you were researching the Kaye Bell.
We at Santa Fe First Presbyterian Church have a Kaye Bell and are looking for information.
Also what was the process of the restoration?

Hope to hear from you.
