Kaplonsky/Kaplansky of Lithuania & Israel

I am distantly related to a Kaplonsky family of Lithuania and Israel. My grandmother's cousin Tovah/Tobe Licht married a Moshe Kaplonsky whose family was said to be ardently Zionist (this would have been somewhere between 1900-1920). They had one son. Either the entire family or just the son later lived in Israel. Any relevant information appreciated. Please write me privately at endora257@aol.com. Thanks - Sara Erdman

Kaplansky

Hi, my mother's maiden name is Kaplansky. My grandfather is Irving Kaplansky originally Montreal, who married Sara Konningsberg of Haifa, Israel. My great-grand father Max Kaplansky was born in 1902 in Jerusalem, married Clara Friedman in 1924 and moved to Montreal. Max had 6 siblings, including Ben and Sue. Yiddish was the main language of use in his family. Any connections?
