I'm searching for an Edward KAMINSKI of Jersey City, NJ. His mother is Jadwiga SIEJWA. I don't know her father's name. Her father had two sisters. One was Ludwika SIEJWA, who married Jan MACKIEWICZ of Szurpily, Jeleniewo, Suwalki, Poland. The other sister was Kamilia, who married Wincenty MARCINKIEWICZ. They left Poland and lived in Jersey City. I know they were in Jersey City on August 1, 1905 because I found Jan MACKIEWICZ listed on a ship's manifest, and it reflected that he was going to their residence when he arrived.

Jadwiga had a sister, who came to the US also. She was Janina SIEJWA-GUTKOWSKA. We do not know her husband's name. She was born August 24, 1911 and died May of 1982. She lived in Clifton, NJ at one time but was living in Wallington, NJ when she died. I believe that Jadwiga and Janina were both born in Poland ... their father also.

If anyone knows this family, please contact me. We have family in Poland trying to find them also.
