I've done some more checking on this. At this time I can be sure of a couple of things. There was a Hans Ulrich Kyzer born in Germany on 12-16-1717 who died 12-6-1792 in South Carolina. He was married to Anna Catharina Frech and they had around 9 children. I did find several people who claimed he was a child of Hans Jakob Kaiser 1694-1769 and Maria Affolter 1702-1753. However I can find no proof of that fact. I also can find nothing that would make me think that this might be true. I can find nothing that even implied they were ever in Germany. They did have a child in 1718 but that was in Luzigen. I can find no Hans Ulrich born in or around 1717 anywhere in Switzerland.

It is my feeling that Hans Ulrick Kyzer is not the child of Hans and Maria and has no Swiss connections. He and Anna are well documented as are their descendants. As for his ancestry it is still in question but I believe it will be found in Germany and not Switzerland.
