I am looking for information about Karl (Carl) Kaiser born about 1854. He and his wife are listed on the ship Fresia, out of Hamburg, arrived New York 23 Jun 1880.
He is accompanied by his wife Caroline(a) geb. Burkhardt born abt 1856, and children Wilhelmina age 3 Martha age 2, and Carl age 11 months. Carolina's mother and father and other siblings are with them on the passenger list but we can find no more for Carl and Caroline. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
We also know that Caroline and her Burkhardt family came from Kaltental, now part of Stuttgart. Don't know about
the Kaiser side. Can't get them past New York!
