One of my cousins gave me two photo albums containing pictures from the late 1800's-early 1900's. He doesn't know any of the people in them, (they are unlabeled) but does know that they are members of the Kaiser family who lived in the states of Kansas and Missouri during that time. He doesn't want them since he doesn't recognize any of the people. His father, Roy Kaiser, had the album in his possession when he died. Roy was born in Cape Girardeau Co., MO and grew up in the Hemmingford NE area. He married my aunt Genevieve Hefty in Hemmingford in 1928.
I hate to just throw them out, but I don't have any idea who these folks are, and they have no connection to me. If anyone on the list is researching the Kaiser family and would like these old pictures, please let me know. Also if anyone has any suggestions for me as to finding interested parties, please let me know. I have posted a similar request on the "Kaiser Forum." but received no response.
Lesson learned: Always label pictures!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise someone may be faced with throwing YOU out in 80 or 100 years!!!!
