I do believe we may be distant relatives. Our second earliest recorded ancestor on my fathers side is a Theodore Johan Kaiser I believe he had a father from Herzebrock Westphalia Germany by the name of Gerhard Kaiser. To my knowledge Gerhard stayed in Germany but several of his children entered the US through the port of New Orleans and several died on the boat trip. Obviously Theodore Johan was one of the lucky survivors. We live in west central Ohio. I am also fairly certain that our records show that he married Anna Stegeman.
