Just wanted to see how many Kaffenbergers I can get together on the net and see if we could make any connections to each other. My Grandfather's name was Warren Kaffenberger (his father was William) I don't know alot of details concerning their background, but Warren lived in Iowa his whole life as far as I know...which is where I am right now. He and my grandmother Mary had 6 children, my father Chris being the youngest. I don't know much about the Kaffenberger history, so I would love to hear from anyone who does!

I am like you. I do not know much about the Kaffenberger family. My father was Allynn Samuel Kaffenberge
His family was from the Houston Area. His father came to US when he was four years old.
My dad died when I was eight months old, November 1952. this is why
I don't know a lot about him or his family. I live in the Metro New
Orleans area. My dad was born in 1903. As I found out more I will write.

My maiden name is Kaffenberger. My father's family is from the area around Frankfurt, Germany and I am aware of some relatives from the Odenwald area of Germany. I would be curious to know if your forefathers came from Germany. Let me know if I can find something out for you. I currently live in Texas and have immigrated to the US from Germany in 1989.

Hope to hear from you

Ulrike Lamb

My maiden name is Kaffenberger, too.

My grandfather did come from Germany. I do not know much
P>about my father's family. He died when I was 8 months old.
I know his parents lived in the Houston Texas area. My
dad's name was Allynn Samuel Kaffenberger. He had a
brother name Fritz (an attorney in houston) and a sister
named Maggie. My dad had a son by first marriage, named
Robert Kaffenberger also from the houston area.
My grandfathers name was Henry (not sure of the spelling)
he came to US when he was four, that was in the 1800's. I am the
second generation born in US on father's side.
reply soon.

Please check the reply to other listings. My grandmother was Maggie Ellen Kaffenberger Cagle from Houston. Had the brother Fritz who was an attorney. Maggie had two daughters Margaret and Ruth. Margaret is my mother. Everything you have down about Allynn is the same as I have on Allynn.

Looking through messages and noticed the name and that you are from Germany. My cousin renata was married to Karl-Heinz kaffenberger from Michaelstadt and they have a daughter Suzanna. Just thought that maybe you are related to them. I also know two other Kaffenbergers from Indiana who are interested in the Kaffenberger family tree. I am from NY but have visited Germany a few times. Most of my relatives are from RollfeldA/Main. Do you know where that is?

I checked my family tree to see if there was anyone from Michelstadt. My great-great grandfather was a miller from Rossdorf near Darmstatd. It seems I have several relatives with whom my family has lost contact since the war years. I do know where Main is, but have only seen Boston in the New England area. My grandfather had a sister named Hanni who married a jewish gentleman and immigrated to the US during the 3rd Reich era. Does anyone know her or her children/grandchildren. Thanks for the message.
