Our Kaechele name is spelled a little different but they also came from Germany. It was Alsace, Lorraine which is between France and Germany. Our gggrandfather to my grandfather (still living age 87) are all John F.Kaechele. My grandparents have 10 children whom are all still living and with their children plus, we are a group of about 60. If you have any information on the Kaechele family please let me know. What a joy this would be to my grandfather. He also said that the name could be spelled differently.

I am researching my Kaechele/Kachele family. My great-grandfather, Gustav Adolph Kaechele (or Kachele) came from Germany, but not sure where. He was born in 1866. He came to Baltimore and became a naturalized citizen in 1888. Do you think we might have any possible connections? Thanks,
Gail Bruner

Unfortunately my father knows very little about his heritage. His father was John Kaechele(1868) and was born in Switzerland, his grandfather was Casper Kaechele born in Germany. Grandmother was Anna Readausch of Germany. Do not know when they were born. He was the only son and had 5 sisters. They migrated to Pittsburgh Pa from Germany so probably are not of the same family.
