Hi Wilma: I sure do know of Andrew Kaake. I have a massive family tree here in Ontario, Canada that I have to look through to give you more info. I think the date you give is a little off from what I have. Please e-mail me at

Hey, would anyone have any information on Andrew's parents? Or Sarah Boone's? I'm stuck. Also, someone said there were 17 children?!? I definitely do not have them all listed. Can anyone help?

Angie, Andrew Kaake had two wives for those 17 children. He married Sarah Boone about 1792, and she died before 1832. He married Catherine Leichty 14 May 1832 in York Co Ont. Children are John Kaake (1793-); Sarah Sally Kaake (Abt 1794); Adam Kaake (Abt 1796-1878); Andrew Kaake (1796-1844); Catherine Kaake (1796-1859); Emmanuel Kaake (Abt 1800-1849); Lydia Kaake (1805-1875); Charles Kaake (1808-1896); Ephraim Kaake (1813-1875); Jonas Kaake (1815-1890); Unknown Kaake; Conrad Kaake (-1840); Elizabeth Kaake (-); James Kaake (-); James Kaake (-); Rachel Kaake (-); Rebecca Kaake (-); Susanna Kaake (-). Those from Jonas on were obviously from Catherine, but don't have much info on those children. This information was given to me by a cousin who did a lot of research in Canada before her death a couple of years ago. But like you, we hit a wall with ancestors of Andrew and Sarah. Have you tried using the Advanced Search in Google? Sometimes you can tap into someone else's line that includes whoever you are looking for.
My line is from Adam (1796-1878)....which one is yours?
Good luck.
Wilma

Saw your posting re Kaake. Any chance that the daughter, Susannah, could have been born c1792/3? I have a PA German Susannah living in Etobicoke Twp who married Alex Larose in 1812, then Pierre Larush in 1821. Witnesses to second marriage were Dolly Prentice & Hiram Prentice. As their sisters married into the Kaake family, I'm wondering if there was a connection. I know its a long shot, but I've been trying to place Susannah in a PA German family for 20 years!

Wow. I'm sorry to say that I do not know. The names are very convincing though. It sounds like the correct family. It would just be a matter of finding out how your Susannah fits. Is she a Kaake? Or a Prentice?
