my grandfather's sister fanny kaiaokamalie was married to an edward kaanana b. (1882). i am not sure if he is from kohala or not but i am trying to find a link to kohala. their children are peter, joseph, louis and meleana. my grandfather's other sister kini aka jennie kaiaokamalie was married to elia helekunihi, jr who has roots in kohala, my tree shows them as "peter helekunihi kanana" and "joseph helekunihi kanana" info gotten from lois smith (don't know if they were hanai from kini or just happened to have the same names......going back on the genealogy, lois' husband elwood or ed's mother jennie uaia's family, they lived in mahukona the same time as my husband's family the kapaona-tampos ohana. jennie's parents are Pikake Uaia Hao KAWAIHAO & Mary Kahoohanohano Maunaolu HELEKUNIHI, mary is the sister of elia named above husband of my great aunt kini.......
