I am looking for information of the parents of Virgil Meeks. On his marriage license he lists his parents as Albert Meeks/Makesya Justice. I am unsure about the spelling of his mnother's name since the license is from 1868. Albert Meeks was supposed to be a slave owner and Makesya a slave girl. Anyone who has any information, I would greatly appreciate it.
