I am researching Lorentz A.Juhlin and brother,
Ingvar. Ingvar came to us @1902. Parents to
these brothers were, Nels Munson Juhlin and
Elna Larson of Sweden. I think that Lorentz
may have been the first born. He was b. in
Sweden on 6 Mar 1879. Family emigrated to
Denmark @1883 (acc to Lorentz obit). This
is where Ingvar was born on 2 Jul 1884, and
where Lorentz marr. Mattiea Larsen, dau of
Hans Christian Larsen and Christine C. Hansen
of Denmark. Mattiea had one known sister,
Christine, b.13 Dec 1881 in Denmark.

Ingvar Juhlin immigrated to US @1902, and
Christine Larsen about a year later. They
were followed by Lorentz and his young family
which included wife, Mattiea (Larsen) and
son Ronvald (Roosevelt), b. 25 Aug 1902.
All three of these household, Ingvar (who
remained single), Christine (who remained
single), and the Lorentz family, settled
in Red Wing, Goodhue Co., MN, where all died
and are buried.

Other known relatives include, Hugo Juhlin
who at one time worked in Red Wing, but marr.
a Miss Day, of Cincinatti, OH on 21 Jun 1921,
according to Red Wing newspaper. And, in the
obit for Lorentz in 1925, there is mention
of two brothers still in Denmark. These were
named as Emil and Victor Juhlin.
