I have the results of my DNA tests. Absolutely no Native American, as I knew there would be none.

I am 99.8 % European 61.7% of that is British and Irish. 8% is French and German, which brings me to the Jude ancestry.

My 3g grandparents were Martha Boney/Boner and John Jude/ Frederick. Martha's father was Joseph Boner- born in France- so there is the French connection. So where did the German come in ??? It has to be from John Jude!!! Just a coincidence a French lady-Martha Boner married a German man- John Jude. !!! On the 1880 Pike Co., KY census, John was recorded as "John Frederick" and stated that his father was born in Germany.

Each person gets 100% of their parent's DNA= which means my (combined) DNA is 50/50 from my parents

You are 100% you, You are made up of a combined 100% from each of your generations. 50% X 2 parents,
25% X 4 grandparents,
12.5 % X 8 grandparents,
6.25% X 16 2g grandparents,
3.12% X 32 3g grandparents,
1.5 X 64 4g grandparents, etc

Since Joseph Boner was French, we can assume his wife was also French, and that John Jude's wife was German. Taking the above percentage numbers for 4ggrandparents, we have
1.5% X these 4 ancesters= 6% French / German.

I am 8% German/French and strongly suspect the other 2% comes from my Hinkle line (Randolph Hinkle was my 4g grandfather- which is same generation as Mr/Mrs Joseph Boner and Mr/Mrs Jude !!! ) The rest of my 4g grand ancestors all lead to being English/ Irish/ Scott

I strongly recommend everyone to take a DNA test, I did mine through 23and ME and have made numerous connections with fellow "cousins" and have proved our bloodline.
