Hi, I'm Kenneth J. Yucha (Jucha) and I am currently researching my family on my father's side. Names have been misspelled upon entering the U.S. and the name "Jucha" was misspelled as Yucha; so there are many of us that are related.
In the early 1900's (1903-1905) 4 brothers immigrated from Poland (Albert Yucha (Jucha), Joseph Yucha (Jucha), John Yucha (Jucha) and Stanley Yucha (Stanislaw Jucha)), now I know that John Victor Yucha (Jucha) never married, no children and passed away in Forks WA. Stanley Yucha (Jucha) was my great grandfather and I have all his information, 9 children. Albert Yucha (Jucha) came with them, went back to Poland and then returned to the U.S. around 1913-1915 and we do not know his happenings. Joseph lived out here in WA state and moved back east sometime after 1910 and had six children.
I have a census record that was misspelled as Joseph "Lucka" and has him listed as brother to "Stanley Lucka", now this is a transcription error that I have found, all Stanley's children are listed but with the misspelled last name. Now my search for "Joseph Yucha (Jucha)" leads me researching.
Maybe we can share research information and come up with some answers. I have started a website,
www.yuchafamily.wa-state-outdoors.com that has a family tree and images in a gallery.
Thanks,
Ken Yucha
