Hi Chris
I wrote a whole family history on the Joyce family about 3 years ago. My great-great-grandfather was Thomas Joyce baptized on 24 July 1851 in Rosmuc. His parent's were listed as Martin & Bridget Joyce. Thomas Joyce was in the military. According the the muster rolls he was first paid on 1 April 1870. On the muster rolls and pay lists he is mostly shown as being on guard, on duty or fatigued. However from at least 1 July 1875 through 31 March 1876 Thomas forfeited all pay as he was in military prison.
Bridget Conneely was baptized Roman Catholic on 28 January 1861 in the parish of Rahoon. Her parent's were Martin Conneely and Catherine Mullowney. On 5 March 1878, Thomas Joyce who was a bachelor and a private in the 88th regiment stationed at Castle Barracks married Bridger Conneely who was a spinster at St. Nicholas Church. They would have at least eleven children I can prove existed.

6 Barbara Joyce b. 11 November 1889 in Crimina d. 2 May 1952 in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts, US
7. Anne/Annie Joyce b. 1 August 1891 in Lettermore. You have probably heard the story of the murder in Rosmuc Ireland of Sonny Dan Walsh. Annie came to the U.S. on 16 March 1911. She married Coleman Kelly and had 3 daughters. When Coleman died of the flu she went back to Lettermore, married Daniel Walsh and had three more kids. Her and her cousin Martin were charged with Dan Walsh's death and were sentenced to death. However, on appeal it was changed to time in prison. So this is the famous Annie Joyce-Kelly-Walsh.
8. Coleman Joyce [my great-grandfather] b. 1 May 1893 in Lettermore d. 5 October 1952 of throat cancer in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, US
9. Margaret "Maggie" Joyce b. 7 July 1895 in Crimina d. 21 November 1978 in Killingly, Windham, Connecticut, US.

11. John Joyce b. 16 May 1901 in Lettermore, d. ?
Their mother Bridget, Thomas's wife died on 11 December 1903 in Crimina.
I have census records for all the children that came over and stayed through 1930. I have military records, Naturalization papers, birth certificates, baptismal certificate, death certificates, some tombstone pictures, etc. I'd be happy to share
