Hi Jennifer,
Actually, I think I just responded to a much older post of yours concerning the Couture family, which would make sense to find you on Joyal searches. Beatrice was the daughter of my great grandmother, again, Ida May (aka Almeda?) Gonyer/Couture. Beatrice had another sister, also Ida, (married a George Curley); and two brothers, Henry E, (married a Barbara S. Fogg) and Alfred (aka Ted--do not know if he married, but recall he died rather young). I believe I remember Ted Joyal was also the name of Beatrice's husband. They lived right on route 107 in Laconia in a tiny home across the drive from my Great Aunt Ida's place. It is now gone and there is a skating rink there. The home my great aunt owned still stands. I spent a lot of time there as a child and young adult. I have a few photos of Bea. Do you have any Couture/Gonyer family photos? I also have a few of them. We share the same great-great grandparents, David (Ovide) and Malvina (Forgues) Gonyer of Gilford, NH.
It will be great to hear from you. Please reply to
pamela.wildes@unh.edu. Your listed e-mail here does not work anymmore.
Sincerely,
Pam (Couture/Piller-1st marriage/Wildes 2nd marriage)
