My husband's family tree has been traced back to three brothers, who came from Wales England
They were Francis who settled in Anson County, NC. His wife was born in Wales, Suffolk county England in 1685, and died in Anson county, NC. 1760 they had three children.
Fancis, John, Marmaduke. Francis married Mrs.....born 1685, Wlaes, Suffolk County England, died 1760 in ANNSON COUNTY, N.C. They had three children: John Jr. Marmaduke, James.
John Jowers was born in 1711 in Wlaes, died 1762 in Norfolk, Va. He and his wife had two children:
Marmaduke b 1738, England, d. 17920; John
Marmaduke Jowers was born in 1738 in England, died 1790. Marmaduke died in 1790 in the Indian War/187 for Rev. War Marmaduke had four children: Marmaduke Jr. 1790, Barnwell County, NC, d 12/19/1823 Barndwell, SC. James Jowers, George W Jowers, b. 1814
