I am looking for information on Ambroise/Ambrose/Ambrosus Joubert/Jubert & Esther/Ester Desnoyers.

I am looking for the location and the date of marriage and I am also looking for the birth date and place of their first two kids: Ambrois and Augustus.

FACTS:
From the 1870 Minnesota Census, county of Hennepin,
Ambroise, age 51, born in Canada (born around 1819)
Ester D, age 41, born in Canada (born around 1829)
Ambrois, age 20, born in New York (born around 1850)
Augustus, age 18, born in New York (born around 1852)
Mary, age 16, born in Quebec ( I have her birth certificate)
From Esther death certificate, she was born in Canada on May 9, 1825.

Because that the couple had two kids in New York state, I suspect that the couple got married where Esther's parent resided as it was the tradition back then.

If my guess is right, the couple got married around 1848-1849, somewhere in a city or a fort near or on Lake Champlain.

I hope that someone across the border can help me on this one. I do not have access to a lot of New York parish books.
